**Legend of Zelda: Return of the Hylian - Solution Guide**

**Controls:** Press F1 for full key list. C=carry, Space=interact with chest, ESC=save/quit.
Important: Save and reload immediately at start to verify saves work.

**Getting Started:**
- Home Cottage: Get shield from chest, carry pots with C
- Go Left, Down, Right over log bridge to find the Sword
- Hold fire for power swing (slow but needed for wizards later)

**Temple 1 (Bats, Skeletons):**
- Find map first, then keys. Ignore bottom-right chest (compass only - wastes a key!)
- Bomb the secret door to south-west, open west doors
- Boss needs at least 4 bombs - drop in circle pattern (right, top, left, bottom) and lead boss into them
- Get the Gloves!

**Village:** Buy empty bottle (fill with red liquid = full health restore). Buy bow from shop.

**Temple 2:** Find grappling hook. Need flippers for boss room - come back later.
- Boss: Stand on first platform, drop 2 bombs, take hits, use red flask at ~50%, drop more bombs. Or use sword/arrows.

**Temple 3:** Grappling hook replaces sword for combat (safer). Use hook on wooden items to cross gaps.
- Light all 4 fire pits with lantern to unlock boss key room. Use arrows on boss.

**Village 2:** Get green flask (more magic), upgrade sword at blacksmith, upgrade gloves. Move black rock SE of village for Fairy.

**Temple 4 (Desert):** Use lantern on mummies. Wizards: stand diagonal = 100% safe, then rebound shots.
- Block puzzle: push top and bottom blocks Left, middle block Up
- Boss: only harmed by own shots, hit orange balls toward boss

**Temple 5 (Dark):** Find the Hammer. Light fire pits, use switches.
- Get Master Sword from SW of Hyrule castle before boss
- Boss (eyeball): run outer loop using sword, easy fight

**Temple 6 (Fire):** Use hammer on stumps to access west area. Lantern on lamps. Sword rebounds fireballs to light corner lamps.

**Temple 7 (Final):** Use all collected items. 5 gems needed from all temples.
