**SimEarth - The Living Planet - Quick Start Guide**

**System Requirements:**
- 512K Chip + 512K Fast RAM for low-res (320x200)
- 1MB Chip + 1MB Fast for high-res (640x400)
- Hard disk with 1.5MB free recommended
- AmigaDOS 1.3+, 2.04+ recommended

**Key Controls/Shortcuts:**
- Atmospheric Composition: Access from File Menu (no double-click on icons)
- Cursor Keys: Scroll the Edit Window
- Mouse + keystrokes combo is fastest way to play
- Fewer open windows = faster performance

**Low-Res Differences:**
- Only one active window onscreen at a time
- Windows provide buttons to navigate to other windows
- Model Control Panels overlay on top of windows (Close Gadget to dismiss)
- Edit Window cannot be resized
- No Options Menu for window positions

**Gameplay Tips:**
- SNAPSHOT (File menu): Saves IFF pictures of planet map
- Edit Window scrolls with scroll bars, cursor keys
- ~40K disk space needed per saved planet
- Can install to hard drive by dragging drawer from disk

**Installation:**
- Floppy or hard drive (1.5MB needed)
- Double-click SimEarth icon to start
- Make backup copies of distribution disks first
