is a port of THE life program, Xlife. What makes Xlife so special is that life patterns are not limited to the size of the display, but can grow effectively indefinitely - the limit is a 2^32 by 2^32 square (2^32 = 4.3 billion). Also included is a large collection of life patterns - 220 to be precise.
