MUTANT (River Adventures)

Quest objective: Kill the Mutant by dropping fish from cave entrance then jacking boulder when Mutant emerges.

EARLY GAME: Open car bonnet for battery with loose lead. Connect lead for spark. Light oily rag. Examine seats for map and stockings (wear stockings). Go to lake and examine reeds and egg. Throw egg to attract crocodile at alligator location.

FOREST: Climb tree for vine and hornet's nest. Use nest against wild boars. Collect reed at pool. Get snails.

CAVE EXPLORATION: Light oily rag, enter cave with reed in mouth. Locate skeleton, get chewing tobacco. Read diary. Climb tree stump with vine tied. Navigate through elephant grass by jumping.

ISLAND SEQUENCE: Reach waterhole. Launch bath after acquiring from cabin. Put on shoes. Paddle to island. Feed bird and discover its food source.

MOUNTAIN SECTION: Clear cave of earth using bath and spade. Dig at slippery moss to get fat worm. Reach bird's nest and get twine. Create fish trap with bone, worm, and twine.

FINAL SEQUENCE: Cast bait at lake. Obtain jack (look under car). Go to cave entrance above Mutant's dwelling. Drop fish. When Mutant emerges, jack boulder down to kill it. Get paper from cave entrance. Read it. Enter cave and get medal.
